Sis. Talia L. Bush

Founder, Light of Clay Faith-Based Coaching

Talia’s passion for parenting dates back to the years she spent sharing stories from the wise women of the combined choirs of Chicago and recounting the laurels of a fearless, “country-strong,” widowed mother as a columnist for the high school paper. Today Talia combines biblical principles with applied positive psychology research to help clients resolve family problems and achieve faith-driven outcomes. She is led by a conviction to prepare children for kingdom work stemming from years leading youth ministries in Northern Virginia congregations. Talia studied counseling and divinity topics at Liberty University; she earned a graduate degree in rhetoric from George Mason University; and she studied behavioral science and communication at the undergraduate level at the University of Maryland. Talia is a veteran and served as a government consultant in the defense industry for more than 20 years. When she’s not working, Talia can be found antiquing (online as of late), reading, or engaging in competitive cooking bouts with her spouse of 23 years and three children.
