Ministers Jim and Karyle Thornton

Jim and Karyle Thornton love the Lord with all of their hearts, soul, mind and strength. They are administration and prayer ministry leaders serving in several roles. Jim and Karyle have been married more than 28 years. They started Aspen Remnant Ministries, based on scripture from the Book of Isaiah, Chapter 10, verses 20-21, where God calls for a remnant of His people, to return to Him.  Aspen trees are the deep rooted; they withstand storms and remain strong – rooted in the Word of God. The mission of their ministry is to encourage others to be better stewards of all of the resources that God has entrusted to us. Specifically, to help people improve their lives in the areas of personal finance impacting the lives of Christian men, women, and young people throughout the nations.  

Jim and Karyle both have over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry.  Jim has financial management, financial statement analysis, operations and tax preparation expertise. Karyle is a financial services brand marketing professional that has lead several organizations to record growth through the development of financial education programs to help others improve their financial lives.  

Karyle is also an author. In 2018 she published Going Blackwards? -- a story that reveals her passion for family and the rebuilding of our communities  As parents, Jim and Karyle are ardent about ensuring that their sons have a relationship with God; a community of support; live a life of service and, know how to encourage others. “If we lift others up and show them that by faith, if they stay focused on God and follow through on their commitments, we can re-define our brand as African Americans, build disciples for Christ and restore our communities.”

Jim and Karyle serve in administration, marriage ministry and prayer leadership roles for Flames of Fire and Gold Ministries and True Worship Prophetic Kingdom Ministry`.
