Sis. Erika Fenner

Resource Management Lead at Accenture Federal Services

Fun-loving, analytical, sister, daughter and friend are just a few words that can be used to describe Erika L. Fenner. Born in the nation’s capital, raised in Maryland and currently residing in Northern Virginia, Erika considers herself to be the epitome of a true DMVer. To know Erika is to know that there’s nothing on this earth that she loves more than spending time with her family. Whether it’s to celebrate a birthday, holiday, new addition to the family or just because, you can find them all at someone’s house eating a good meal and laughing non-stop.

Erika graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Marketing and a minor in Computer Information Systems. Erika enjoys using her position as a project manager to encourage those on her team to strive for excellence in all that they do. She was first introduced to government contracting on a project with the U.S. Coast Guard and has since worked with various government agencies as they strove to usher in new technology.

Erika is especially passionate about her faith and her church, which she’s attended for the past twelve years. Under the leadership of her pastor, Dr. Wayne D. Wyatt, Erika has learned that the true reward and growth comes from serving. Erika has been the wearer of many wonderful hats during her time at Loudoun Bible Church and got her start in service when she volunteered as a Sunday School teacher for the Early Elementary class. When a need arose to teach and organize events the students in middle and high school, Erika once again volunteered, not knowing how much God had in stored for her. Whether it was hosting a bible study, going on a youth retreat or planning out the “Soul Shops” that took place twice a month, Erika loved working with her team to ensure that what was being taught to the students weren’t just words, but impactful lessons that would be with them no matter where they went or what they went through. The five years Erika spent in youth ministry, eventually becoming the Youth Director, challenged her, stretched her, grew her and blessed her beyond anything she could have ever imagined.

When a coworker asked her how she became the “person that she is”, she didn’t hesitate to tell them that God blessed her with amazing parents that taught her what it looks like to work hard and respect the fact that there is a consequence for the decisions we make, be it good or bad. Her favorite scripture is Matthew 6:33. Not only because it’s a promise of what God has in store for those that seek Him and His Kingdom, but because it reminds her that she’s an imperfect girl loving a perfect God that blesses His children.
