Dr. Shawn Richmond

Dr. Shawn Richmond is a native of both North Carolina and Washington, D.C. She grew up in a loving, Christian family and endeavors to carry many of their traditions forward.

Spiritually, she believes that we are all sinners and for our sins and trespasses Jesus was crucified on the cross, and that with His blood we are saved from the enemy. Jesus is her Lord and Savior by His death and resurrection. She opened her heart to Him at age 12. She serves Him now as a licensed minister.

Professionally, Dr. Richmond is a serial entrepreneur. In 1999, she launched her first business, a technical training firm. The firm is now 21 years old and continues to thrive. She’s launched more ventures since then and the thrill of a startup never disappoints her.

God also gifted her to write Bible-based books. Her debut novel and its companion Bible Study workbook, “The Evidence of Things Not Seen”, are available online today. They are also being transformed into a stage play! Not only did she write them, but she also published them via her newest venture, Goshen Publishers LLC (“GPub”). In addition to her own books, GPub has published dozens of faith-based books for other authors and is distributing them worldwide.

Academically, Dr. Richmond holds a PhD in Organization and Management, a Masters in Theology, a Masters in Distance Education, and a Bachelors in Computer Studies. In addition, she holds more than a dozen graduate and post-doctorate certificates. She has served as faculty, advisor, and curriculum developer at six different accredited colleges and universities.

Family: Dr. Richmond lives in Stephens City, Virginia, is a mother of three and grandmother of two.
